What I've learned from the Rosetta Mission--
-Comets are often smaller than asteroids.
-It took Philae three times to land on the comet.
-Water on the comet is different than the water on earth
-The mission took 10 years to get to the comet
-The lander was sent by the European Space Agency

    Rosetta Spacecraft Unit--I learned:

    * ...that the Rosetta spacecraft was not sent into space by NASA. It was sent by ESA--European Space Agency.
    * ...that the spacecraft was asleep for about 2.5 years.
    * ...that this space journey might be the biggest space event since July 20, 1969.
